This week I was able to snap some great shots of a 2 year old Wheaton named Darby and her owner, Taylor. Taylor works at a local law firm and is in school for interior design. Most of the photos were taken inside her house and you will get an idea of the colors and aesthetic that make her an amazing decorator. You may view her “perfectly taylored” blog here.
There were so many perfect photos I had a really hard time choosing which ones to put in this blog so I, well, I put a lot.
I hope you like them!
Meet Darby!
How cute is she? She was a perfect model. The next two photos I added an antique tone. It seemed to fit with the chair and the blanket on the back that Taylor’s grandmother crocheted (Taylor loves to sew as well) and the country feel the whites added to the photos.
If you think Darby is spoiled, you would be correct.
After some photos indoors we decided to head outside to see if we got any ideas for pics. Our jaunt outdoors didn’t last very long for 3 reasons. 1. Darby was waaaaay to distracted. 2. It was cold. 3. The sun was still to bright and the lighting was horrible. I did capture this cute one. (notice Darby’s distracted face)
Once we got back inside Darby was tired! She kept resting her head and we kept making her get up to pose.
Hey, sometimes you have to suffer for beauty. What can I say? These are some of my favorites.
Here are a few facts about Darby and no, the “likes coffee” thing wasn’t an error. :) Taylor says that she can have any drink sitting on the table but Darby will only drink her coffee…can dogs be addicted to caffeine? Hmmmm….
and last but not least…tired face.
Thanks for viewing and happy Monday!

P.S – I recently connected with a local pet shelter and I am hoping to be able to take these kinds of photos for them in order to help promote pet adoption. Stay tuned. :)
P.S.S – I recently added a Facebook “like” button at the top of my posts. If you feel so led…(*-*)
